My Sugar Momma

by Desmond Allen

/

about

I wrote this after I retired and my wife was still working. She has a good sense of humor.

lyrics

She’s a hard workin’ woman; I’m a no workin’ man
She works ev’ry day just as hard as she can She’s my Sugar Mamma,
My Sugar Mamma Spoils me at night and works ev’ry day for me

Once I had a job, and I tried to let it be
I left ev’ry morning to go fishin’ in the sea But my Sugar Mamma,
She takes care of me She’s home ev’ry night and works ev’ry day for me

She can’t sit around, she doesn’t have the time
Just too busy tryin’ to make me a dime She’s my Sugar Mamma,
She treats me right Holds me tight and works ev’ry day for me

She don’t mind the work, wouldn’t rest if she could
While I sit around like a block of wood ‘Cause My Sugar Mamma
She takes care of me Spoils me at night and works ev’ry day for me

I’ve had her for years I couldn’t leave her now
‘Cause if I did she’d miss me some how She’s my Sugar Mamma,
And I’m her sugar toy Holds me tight and works ev’ry day for me
