The Girl I Met Last Night

by Desmond Allen

/

about

Had this rhythm, the lyrics have no basis in reality; at least not mine.

lyrics

Looking for the girl I met last night. I must say she was quite a sight.
Could be the one to make me see the light.
Never met a girl with such a zest for life.

She walked right up got in my space, although she’d never seen my face.
She was bold and I’ve been told
That she’s never, never, ever heard a word of no,

She drove away in a brand new Ford; next thing I know she’s knocking at my door.
But then she gone, without a trace.
In my face and at my door, I want more.

If you see her walking by this way tell her that I said “Hey”
How can it be? Wish she’d see what
getting in my face and coming to my door has done to me.
